We know you're curious! Here's a collection of videos showing how electrolysis should be performed. Note that electrolysis is performed with a needle, not electric tweezers, cotton buds, galvanic pads or any other non-invasive method which can sometimes be advertised as electrolysis. If you are a qualified therapist but not a member of the BIAE, and you don't recognise the technique used here you may not have been taught electrolysis correctly. Please contact us to find out how we can help you improve your skills. (Photos and videos courtesy of imarni.co.uk and about-face.co.uk)
Also you can view two common advanced electrolysis treatments; cherry angioma (also called a Campbell de Morgan spot) and skin tags can easily and quickly be treated, but only by an electrolysist who has been trained in advanced techniques. You can find a list of BIAE members who provide advanced treatments here.
